Since 1986 David Vanzo and wife Barrie have been on the beautiful beaches of Maui (our studio) shooting the most difficult pictures of all...soaking wet people in bathing suits. We always manage to make them look wonderful. Many of you have either done one of our "Aloha from Maui" postcards or received one in the mail from a vacationing friend or family member. They really are spectacular! Our photo stand/studio on Front St. in Lahaina, in front of the Pioneer Inn has been a famous Maui landmark for many, many years. Our corner was featured in Poster of the Year for the Lahaina Towne Comittee and the Historical Society.
Our photos have been shown in magazines such as People and Us and The Guide to Maui Handbook. The list of celebrity photos is endless, to mention a few, Snoop Dog, (the late) John Ritter, Rob Schneider, Magic Johnson, Morris Chestnut, Arnold and Maria, Jack Nicholson, Joe Montana and the list goes on. We even photographed Robert Shapiro while on hiatus from the O.J. Simpson trial. Our photo of Leeza Gibbons' kids was recently featured on a commercial (on DIY) for her new line of scrapbooking supplies.

The rest of our staff consists of long time photographers John Mallory, Brian Botka and David Lange, digital imaging and printing specialist Doug Matthews and last but certainly not least, the Birdies: Fred, Tanqueray, Hoku, Angel, Chips, Baby, Sunny, Lani, Balloo, Bomber, MaiTai, AJ, Peanut, Chrissy, Sweet Pea and Pearl.
We offer state of the art digital imaging and now have 2 locations (west and south sides) to easily service all your photography needs.
With over 40 years combined experience, six full time photographers,17 colorful tropical birds (optional, available upon request) and two locations, I'm sure we can custom design a package to fit any requests and any budget.
